Today, I want to talk about how success doesn't only depend on expensive degrees. In fact, every human being can cultivate valuable skills for free. I have been a professional since 1999, and I’ve learned that technical knowledge is not enough.
Skill 1: Punctuality
Punctuality is essential. You must
respect other people's time. If you arrive late, you won't be able to
build trust. It’s a simple work collocation: you should always arrive
on time.
Skill 2: Honesty
You have to be honest. If you make a
mistake, you can't hide it. This creates a mature professional appearance,
looking reliable and composed.
Skill 3: Writing Clearly
Writing clearly is a game-changer. In the past,
I could not express myself well, but I have practiced this for
a long time. You must not send confusing emails.
Skill 4: Essential Math
Everyone should be able to do basic
math. It helps avoid silly mistakes at work. You don't need a calculator
for everything; you just need to have enough focus.
Skill 5: Effective Communication
You must not speak rudely. Knowing how
to communicate helps maintain a good work environment. I have been
interested in communication since I started my blog.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, these skills make us more
mature. If we practice them, we will be able to live better. Remember:
technical skills are great, but they are not enough to be a better human
being.
